The inspiration for Qinshihuang Cpa came from the popularity of India Pale Ale (IPA) globally. The design team wanted to create a craft beer that showcases Chinese characteristics and stands out in the industry. Named after Qinshihuang, the first emperor of China, this beer embodies innovation and cultural identity.

The packaging design of Qinshihuang Cpa is where its uniqueness truly shines. The bottle shape and neck are inspired by elements from the Qin dynasty, with a flag around the neck symbolizing its pioneering role in the China Pale Ale category. The central seal character, reminiscent of the unified font in Qin dynasty, adds a touch of traditional and classical style. Qinshihuang Cpa is leading the industry towards a new trend in China pale ale.

Qinshihuang Cpa is available in two sizes: a 315 ml bottle measuring 200 x 62 mm and a 550 ml can measuring 159.5 x 66 mm. The bottle design resembles a jade goblet with cloud patterns, reminiscent of the Qin and Han dynasties. Opening the bottle cap reveals a striking visual effect, inviting consumers to indulge in the unique flavors of this China Pale Ale.

The development of Qinshihuang Cpa took place in Beijing in February 2020, and it is set to be launched in China in January 2023. The design team faced the challenge of highlighting the distinctiveness and superiority of the product through packaging. By integrating elements from the Qin dynasty into a modern design, they successfully created a bottle that captures the essence of Qinshihuang and offers consumers a taste of Chinese culture.

Qinshihuang Cpa has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Packaging Design Award in 2023, which celebrates designs that exhibit creativity, resourcefulness, and contribute to improving the quality of life.
